The challenge
Two things stood in the way.
Time. The brush was already in production, so there was no room for weeks of sample back-and-forth. Every round had to count.
Shipping. The team's last sample sent to China got stuck in customs paperwork. Sending the brush to our studio felt like a risk to the launch.
How we did it
Made sending the brush easy.We prepared the shipping label and all the paperwork. They only had to print it and drop the box off.
Showed 3D concepts within a week. From the brush measurements, we made 3D renders of box options and walked the team through them on a call, so they could pick a direction before any sample was made.
Built the box around the real brush. We measured the brush itself and made a blank white structural sample first, so the fit was settled before anything was printed.
Sampled fast without skipping steps.A digital print sample let them check layout and the gold within days. We then refined the tray, opened up the thumb cutout so the brush lifts out cleanly, and sent two pre-production samples to New York for sign-off.
Bought materials during sampling.Print materials were ready by the time they approved, so production took about 10 days, plus a day of QC.
The result
A rigid box with a lift-off lid and a gold card insert that holds the brush in place. Every box passed QC and landed in New York before the July 25 deadline, in time for launch.
Launch date set and no box yet? Let's start with a sample.
No commitment to order.
