Scope

Most clients never see what happens between the idea and the finished packaging, so this concept project breaks down the full workflow — the exact steps every client goes through when developing custom packaging with us.

What this project covers

  • Structural Design & Dieline

  • White Structural Sample

  • Sample Room

  • Pre-Production Sample

Structural Design & Dieline

Person holding a white box with six rectangular compartments. On the table are technical drawings, a digital caliper, and a green sample card labeled 'CEDARWOOD ATLAS'.
Person holding a green box of ash&oud single bottle packaging in front of a computer screen displaying packaging design drawings and specifications.

What we do:

  • Create the dielines with exact tolerances

  • Decide on board thickness

  • Plan fold lines, glue flaps, and structural support

  • Run basic stress-testing (weight, compression)

Why this matters:
Most packaging issues come from bad dielines.
We eliminate those problems before sampling.

White Structural Sample

Open white box with compartments on a wooden surface, empty inside.
Open white box with empty slots for electrical outlets resting on a wooden table.

What we check:

  • Fit of the product

  • Opening/closing feel

  • Box rigidity

  • Insert positioning

  • Alignment and precision

What We do here

Produce custom die-cut plates based on your packaging dielines.

  1. Use those plates to cut and shape actual material samples.

  2. Assemble full-size mockups so you can inspect structure, printing, finishes, and feel — before pre-production.

Pre- Production Sample

This is the exact version mass production follows.
We use final materials, real printing, real finishes, and real construction methods.

What the PPS confirms:

  • Print quality

  • Paper wrap & lamination

  • Finishes (foil, emboss, UV)

  • Final structure & insert

  • Production accuracy
